MARLBORO, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 13, 2001--Synchronicity, Inc. today announced its expansion into Israel, with the signing of Advanced Semiconductor Technology Ltd. (AST Ltd.) as the company's regional distributor. AST, a leading electronic design automation (EDA) tools and services company, will provide local sales and support for Synchronicity's line of Internet-based design management and project collaboration tools. Working in conjunction with Fabrice Mekersi, Synchronicity's newly hired major accounts manager for Southern Europe based in Sophia Antipolis France, AST will deliver the industry's most comprehensive development supply chain management solutions to Israeli customers.
